The information session runs about two hours, with a short 15-minute break in the middle.

A note about technical requirements: Use Amazon’s free print publishing platform, CreateSpace on a MAC or a PC. All you need for this information session is a pad and pencil to take notes! You will receive a handout of the agenda and notes for the presentation. 🙂

Overview for Coloring Book Crash Course

A brief overview of what we’ll cover in the session includes the following:

  • selling options for your coloring book once it’s published

Coloring Book Artwork – Interior Pages

  • Review of the dimensions and image resolution required, and how to meet these specs
  • Some techniques and free online resources to use

Formatting the Book

  • A page-by-page walk through of what you’ll need, including your title and copyright pages
  • How to put your images into the pages, without losing resolution
  • Using available templates

Coloring Book Artwork – Your Book Cover Image

  • Review of the specs for your book cover image
  • Techniques and tips for cover creation

Uploading and Publishing to Amazon’s Platform

  • Tweaks and tips for a smooth upload
  • Using the built-in preview feature before you hit “publish”
  • Requesting the “proof” copy
  • Post-publishing process for handling edits and changes

Selling Your Coloring Book – Your Options Beyond Amazon

Brief exploration of other options you have for selling your coloring book
